CCAR Recovery Coach Academy (Training)
The MPAC ALP Program is pleased to bring CCAR Recovery Coach Academy training to you. The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© is a 5-day intensive training academy focused on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs as well as support those with mental health issues.
The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© prepares participants by helping them to actively listen, ask really good questions, and discover and manage their own stuff.
When – Monday – Friday, August 5 – 9, 2019 (must attend all five days to receive certificate of completion, partial credit can not be offered.)
Time – 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., class will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Where – KCM, 2119 Gwynn Oak Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21207
Cost – $100, which covers the cost of the manual and lunch. Payment via credit card and PayPal accepted.
Trainers – 3c Recovery Support Training Institute: Tyrell Moyd, RPS, RCP, Principal Facilitator and Rev. Vaile Leonard, Associate Faculty
This training is approved by MABPCB, Maryland Addictions and Behavioral-health Professionals Certification Board, which is the peer credentialing board in Maryland. This training will provide 30 CEUs.
